The 2009 - 2010 AAA Dogwood Safety Patrol
Shelby County Schools and Dogwood Elementary are not responsible for questionable or controversial content found through links external to this site.
The AAA Dogwood Safety Patrol is a program designed to build and encourage leadership, maturity, and character in its participants through opportunities for leadership and mentoring. Students assist school staff at arrival and dismissal in ensuring the safety of all Dogwood students and will assist with the daily raising and lowering of our countries flag in the 2009 - 2010 school year.
Patrollers are selected based on several factors including classroom performance, leadership abilities, excellence in conduct, attendance, and character. Students must be entering 4th or 5th grade to be considered.
Students selected to the AAA Dogwood Safety Patrol are expected to serve all year, be able to arrive before school by 8:40 (unless on Bus Patrol), remain at school until 4:15 (unless on Bus Patrol), and maintain appropriate academic, conduct, and attendance standards. There will be a small fee to cover uniform and other expenses for next year.
