Hello, I am Lou Carmichael, third grade teacher at Dogwood Elementary.  Dogwood is an elementary school in Germantown, TN.  I have a bachelor’s degree from the University of Memphis, and a master’s degree from Union University.  I have been teaching at Dogwood for more than thirteen years.

I will be co-teaching with Mrs. Leslie Brickey this year, which will be a wonderful opportunity to address the individual needs of all the children in the classroom.  While she won’t be in the classroom all day long, please know that she and I will work together closely.  I hope you will all feel free to approach either of us as your child’s teacher.
