Dogwood School Library serves over 750 busy students in grades K- 5. Individual classes visit the library at scheduled times. Open circulation times are provided daily.




Hello, my name is Mrs. Counce, and I am the librarian at Dogwood. I have taught with Shelby County Schools for nineteen years, and I have been at DES for fifteen years. My goal is to provide opportunities for students to learn how to access and use information, whether in print or technological format, and to instill a lifelong love of reading in each child.
